Responsibilities
- Penetrating targeted accounts, uncovering and analyzing customer needs, developing solution/value propositions, negotiating terms, and closing business
- Managing and forecasting sales activity in salesforce.com
- Contacting, creating, and qualifying new buyers, leads, and sales opportunities
- Generating new business in new accounts and upselling existing accounts
- Identifying critical business challenges of prospects and customers
- Adding customer equity by creating valued business partnerships with customers, proactively identifying business opportunities for the customer, and conveying a firm understanding of customers’ business and political drivers
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in direct sales (B2B and/or enterprise software sales)
- Experience managing a new business quota from $800,000+
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field preferred
- Travel requirements: 10% or greater
