Job Description

We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. Reporting into our Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for generating new leads while playing an integral role in defining our overall sales strategy. As a small and fast-paced team, we are looking for someone who thrives in an agile environment and can work both independently and highly collaboratively.

As a Business Development Representative at FireHydrant, you will be a member of our foundational BDR team, working to grow our strong pre-existing customer base. You will conduct strategic research to determine the best prospective companies, and cultivate business relationships to increase the sales of our organization.

The role offers an incredible opportunity for growth, as strong performance will lead to an opportunity to advance into a closing position as an Account Executive.


Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be qualifying prospects and generating demand for FireHydrant. With time, you will become an expert in finding contacts and delivering qualified meetings for the AE team.

-Outreach to prospects via email, phone, events, conferences, etc. -Organize and update internal CRM (Salesforce) systems to provide 100% accuracy -Measure sales results and prepare data for weekly analysis -Coordinate with the AE and the Business Development Manager to create a direct flow of qualified opportunities -Create specific daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline metrics -Continue to develop and improve sales skills through training and shadowing to increase results and work towards AE program


Requirements

-6+ months of sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS -Proven track record of achieving or exceeding goals -Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills -A self-starter attitude with a bias towards action (we are all hands-on and this role will have lots of autonomy)
